Dance Theater Southwest is going to offer the Homschool Dance classes again this year. Right now the 3 classes offered are Mommy and Me for age 2, Ballet/Tap Combo for ages 3-younger 5 and Ballet/Tap Combo for ages older 5-8. IF THERE IS INTEREST IN DIFFERNT DANCE STYLE OR OLDER AGE GROUPS PLEASE POST A REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE. The studio would love to expand the homeschool program. If we can get 3-4 people interested in the same dance style that are close in age (2-3 years of age can be grouped together), I will work with the studio to get new classes started. They offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, and Flamenco. Here is the info for the current classes:

Mommy and Me (age 2)

Tuesdays 11:30 - 12:00 $39/month

Ballet/Tap Combo (ages 3-younger 5)

Thursdays 1:00-2:00 $59/month

Ballet/Tap Combo (ages older 5-8)

Thursdays 2:00-3:00 $59/month

There is a $20 registration fee for the first child and $10 for each additional family member. Boys are 1/2 price on the monthly fees. There is also a 10% discount on the monthly fee for additional family members.

Pre-Registration is taking place on August 6, 8, 13 & 15 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and August 11 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. In the past, they have prorated the first month to make paying the registration fee less painful. You can always register after the classes have begun and join in anytime during the year. The first day of class is the week of August 20-24. The studio is located at 4200 Wyoming NE, Ste B-2. This is just south of Montgomery on the east side of the street, next door to the Range Cafe. When you register you will get all info about breaks for holidays, what to wear, and the gory details on payment policies.

The classes are open to non-AHL members as well, so feel free to invite your friends.
