From the

ClimateClassroom.org helps educate children about global climate
change in accurate, developmentally appropriate, and hopeful ways.
Sections designed for parents and K-12 educators provide talking
points, attractive visuals, instructional guidelines, and helpful
resource links for investigating the topic with children. An
additional section for school-age children offers quality learning
experiences and realistic suggestions for becoming part of the global-
warming solution.

The Office of Science Education (OSE) coordinates science education
activities at the NIH and develops and sponsors science education
projects in house. These programs serve elementary, secondary, and
college students and teachers and the public.

Pathfinder Science cultivates and celebrates the intellectual,
imaginative and humanitarian promise of every learner. Pathfinder
Science is a virtual community that practices mutual respect,
embraces diversity, and inspires a passion for learning about the
material world through science. This Collaborative Research community
grew from an attempt to fulfill the vision of national efforts to
reform science and technology education.

The Society for Amateur Scientists helps ordinary people do
extraordinary science.

Since its founding in 1994, SAS has been the only non-profit research
and education organization dedicated to helping people enrich their
lives by following their passion to take part in scientific
adventures of all kinds. We educate, advocate, kibitz and build
networks of like-minded people to further the ethical pursuit of
science and scientific research.

SAS is not an organization of amateurs. Rather, we are an
organization for amateurs. We are a unique consortium of thousands of
professional and amateur scientists who seek to advance science and
science literacy on all fronts.
