Weekends: Traditional Native American dance performances and art demonstrations every weekend. Dance performances at 11 am and 2 pm during our fall season schedule.
Daily: Ongoing exhibition and program series, “Native Foods and Wellness”
1 Monthly lecture hosted by the Friends of IPCC, “Sculpting a Pueblo” by Upton Ethelbah Greyshoes: 11:00 am.
6-7 Fall Indian Market Art Show and Sale 10 am – 4:30 pm
6-14 Balloon Fiesta Week at IPCC. Daily traditional dance performances 11 am & 2 pm; art demonstrations and more.
13-14 “Traditional Foodways” weekend: Opening ceremony; Invited keynote speaker Winona LaDuke; films, traditional food making demonstrations; model Native food programs; Pueblo House garden learning site; workshops; health and wellness awareness. 10 am – 5 pm
17 After school hands on activity 2 pm – 4 pm
20-21 “Food Arts” weekend: Arts and culture marketplace, artist demonstrations; hands-on activities; food and celebration workshop. 10 am – 5 pm
27-28 “Food Producers and Farmers” weekend: Farm and food marketplace; food tastings, cookbook signings, workshops and lectures, careers in culinary arts; Community Feast. 10 am – 5 pm
November
– National Native American Heritage Month -
