Local Author Discussion And Signing!
Saturday, July 7th – 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm:
LOCAL AUTHOR MICHELE YARDUMIAN will be on hand to talk about and sign the new fantasy novel she co-authored, “The Alliance: Book One of the Faeltheon.” Yardumian also illustrated the book, and describes it as “similar in reading level to Harry Potter, the first book touches on themes of courage, honor, tragedy and faith. While the novel clearly is part of the fantasy genre, it reads more like J.R.R. Tolkien or C.S. Lewis in its content.” An interesting aspect to the novel is that it was written by three 15-year-old students and their math teacher. Homeschoolers, teachers and young people are invited to discuss creative ways for youths to start writing. For more information, call 823-1893.
