Our summer camp dates are July 26 thru August 1. We will have class on Thursday, Friday, and then the following Monday thru Wednesday. During this summer dance camp, we will explore all different types of dance.

The older dancers (Worship 2) will experience worship dance in a completely new way as they learn more about the technique behind the worship. They will learn to worship our Lord by taking classes on ballet, lyrical, modern, leaps and turns, worship, and stretching. All of these classes are based upon worship dance and our mission of serving Jesus.

The younger dancers (Worship1) will worship the Lord through ballet, creative movement, and tap classes. (For the tap classes, dancers will need to bring a pair of dress shoes that have some sort of strap around the middle of the foot or tap shoes if you have them.)

There is no experience required to take part in the summer worship dance camp, we encourage new, as well as experienced dancers to attend.
At the end of the dance camp, we will hold a concert so that the girls may use their talents to praise the Lord with others. All classes will be held in the ROC or in a classroom at First Baptist Church in Los Alamos. I, Sarah Parsons, will be teaching part of this camp, but we will also have a guest teacher who will be with us. She is someone whom I have danced with for years and she has a wonderful heart for Jesus and praising Him with dance.

The cost for this summer camp will be $35 per student for the Worship 1 class, and $45 per student for the Worship 2 class. This fee includes all class periods for the week as well as any crafts or props that we may use in the concert.

Worship 1: 5-10 year olds will dance from 9:00-12:00 every day.
We will have several breaks and a short lunch period.

Worship 2: 11 years thru adult will dance from 10:00-4:00 every day.
We will have several breaks and a lunch period.

*All dancers are asked to bring a sack lunch and any other snacks that they wish to have. It is also suggested that all dancers bring a water bottle.
