I am the director of a home school band that meets in Albuquerque. We have over 60

10. University of New Mexico, Department of Theatre and Dance
The University of New Mexico Department of Theatre and Dance has a long-term commitment to providing educational and outreach programs children, youth, and families as well as for students and teachers in area public and private schools, including Home Schools. These include:
• a season of 15-20 plays and dance concerts each year in our three venues--Rodey Theatre, the Experimental Theatre, and the Carlisle Dance Performance Space. Many are of high interest to teens and adults, some are suitable for all ages. We offer student discounts for all our productions and school matinees for several productions each season.
• Opportunities for high school students to earn high school credit for doing internships in the design and tech area (costumes, scenery, lighting, sound) and crewing or assistant stage managing for one of our productions.
• Saturday morning theatre classes for children and youth aged 4-15. These classes are offered each fall and spring semester in ten-week sessions, are very reasonably priced, and taught by UNM theatre majors under the supervision of a Theatre Education graduate student and faculty advisor. There are classes for 4-5, 6-8, 9-11, and 11-15 year olds.
• A two-week summer intensive course for middle and high school students called The Summer Academy. Classes meet from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and culminate in a showcase performance for friends and family.
• The annual school touring show. Each spring, the department produces and tours a one-act play for local elementary schools. These are often written by students in our MFA Dramatic Writing program. This show is available for booking from February through May. Information about the show is usually available by the preceding December.

I am a builder / performer / teacher of recorders and other early wind instruments. I also do programs on the instruments themselves (I've guest lectured on this at Texas A &M University, where I bring about 50 different Renaissance and baroque instruments), music of different periods, and the physics of music.
I teach recorder and other early instruments privately and in groups. I can also teach an assortment of modern instruments (especially trumpet / cornet, on which I majored in college, and trombone), as well as coach ensembles of modern instruments or period ones, or mixes.
I can also do lecture / demos on instruments and historical issues tied to early performance, or lecture / hands-on on things like basic musical accoustics and physics.
Also, he will have available his book "Writers Guide to Everyday Life in Colonial America" is the result of years working in eighteenth-century living history museums. Written not just for writers, but as an introductory text for training museum staff and for social history courses, the book covers the basic concepts of American social history from 1607 through 1783. Other books cover each subject area in more detail, but none other provides these basic concepts which tie the details together.

In 1978, Albuquerque balloonists Ben Abruzzo and Maxie Anderson, along with partner Larry Newman, made history when they completed the first non-stop crossing of the Atlantic Ocean by gas balloon.
Now, a museum named in their honor is making history here in Albuquerque. The $12 million Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum building dominates the skyline just southeast of Balloon Fiesta Park.
The Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum is the world's premiere facility dedicated to the art, culture, science, history, sport and spectacle of ballooning. It features one of the finest collections of ballooning equipment and memorabilia in the world. It officially opened its doors to the public on October 1st, 2005.
The dream of building a museum to celebrate the art and science of ballooning began in the mid 1980s. The Maxie Anderson family felt that creating a museum would be a fitting way to honor the senior Anderson, who died in a balloon accident in Europe in 1983. After Ben Abruzzo's 1985 death in an airplane accident, it was decided the museum should honor Abruzzo as well.

Lara is a trained Lyric Soprano who has been teaching private voice for the past three years. She beganas a jazz band/ show Choir soloist and has been featured as the lead in two musicals The Voice and The Choice .
She has performed with Greeley Colorado's community theater and sings presently with Loveland opera theater. She has been judging young vocalists in local competitions for the past three years and continues to help her students grow in their abilities to become all God wants them to be.
Students come once a week for private lessons they start off learning musical styles including: gospel, folk, contemporary and opera. Students will learn how to deliver a song so it engages the audience and shows their best voice through the various vocal techniques they will learn.
First lesson is always free after that it's $15.00 for beginners and 18.00 for intermediate.
