SUCCESSFUL SWAP/SALE! THANKS TO ALL!

To everyone:

Just wanted to let you know that the NM Homeschool Community Swap/Sale this past Friday (2/23) was a resounding success! We had nearly 125 people both attending and browsing!

This was in essence a 'litmus test' to see what would happen and although I hypothesized that we would get a few interested parties I never imagined that it would be this wonderful!

I know that several people have thanked me but honestly all I did was make an idea that has been floating around for years a reality and it was not me alone that did this it was everyone who came, everyone who volunteered, in essence the entire homeschool community who should be thanking each other.

I did get the dates for our next swap/sale curriculum faire and it will be Friday, May 25th from 9-2AM also at Taylor Ranch Community Center. More details will follow and volunteers will be requested as it gets closer.

I know several people expressed a desire to have the location at a different place and I have scouted a few other community centers and none have a space as big as this one. Believe me as we can only grow from here we will be looking at other possibilities in the future that are not at community centers but for now this will serve our needs!

My apologies that my thanks are just getting out now we are dealing with the aftermath of colds in our house and have been slowly getting back to normal, you may have noticed that there are even days when I have not been able to send out any emails...I figured that gives you time to catch up, but now we are back to normal for us and you can expect more information to be flowing!
