Pajarito Literary Review - Deadline for submissions for the Pajarito Literary review is Friday, March 30th.
Moebius - Deadline for submissions for Moebius is Friday, March 30th. Moebius is for grades 9-12 and is not a contest, but is an opportunity to have your work published.
Young Authors Reception - Please join us on Sunday April 29th and read aloud selections that were published in the Pajarito Literary Review. Kathy Barco will be our guest author and we will have live music and refreshments. The reception will start at 1:30 p.m. in the youth services department.
Teen Coffee House - Our teen coffee house will be Sunday, May 6th and will have as guests the 2007 Albuquerque Poetry Slam Team. Teens may also read their selections for Moebius. The program will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will be in the 3rd floor meeting rooms at the Mesa Public Library.
WaL - Our programs will continue beginning on the 4th with a movie, the 11th with a paper craft, April 18th will be DDR and the 25 th will be an artsy craft.
White Rock Branch Library - The library will reopen on April 16th with full services and hours. Come and enjoy the beautiful renovation.
Exhibit for the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators- Mesa Public Library is pleased to host a delightful exhibit of original children's book artwork during the month of April in the upstairs gallery. Artists from the Northern New Mexico region will display their work in a wide range of styles and media. An artist's reception will be held Sunday, April 22 nd from 2:00 - 4:00.
Earth Day 2007 Snakes at the Library - Please join our "Snake Conservation" family for our 7th Earth Day Program at the Mesa Public Library. Our snakes will be persuading residents in the youth area on Saturday, April 21 st from1:00-4:00 p.m. to "go green" with the snakes of Los Alamos County.
