Dear Homeschooling Friends,
We had a wonderful time on Friday enjoying using our bodies at the PPF preparation/Mile run test. :)
There is still time to join us if you'd like to come to Sandia Prep on Friday, Sept 21 from 4-6pm.
Those of you who were registered and couldn't come for some reason, please consider coming for the 4-event testing on the 21st and then we'll figure out a time for your kiddos to run the mile while I time them. :) I would be happy to describe the four tests to you via email/phone if you need more information.
Those of you who weren't registered, please email me to register and come anyway. The way one of our coaches from LBJ put it, this test is to see where you are so you can see improvement the next time you take the test. :) Even if you can only do 1 pull up or 10 situps in a minute, that's fine! Next time, you'll be able to do more. :) The act of preparing for the test seemed to motivate the kids to be more active and encourage one another. Fun was had by all (or most anyway!).
