On Sept. 19th at the State Fair, the Natural Resources building is testing
an interactive thing for kids....we have a family learning guide that kids
pick up in front of the building, go through and visit the various agencies
(State Parks, Nat'l Parks, Game and Fish, State Forestry, Office of the
State Engineer, Energy, Minerals and Conservation Division, State Land
Office, Bureau of Land Management.), get answers to the questions and then
come back to the front of the building to get a certificate and a prize
bag. It's scheduled to go from 10:00am-4:00, but we may start it earlier -
like 9:00am.
