Saturday, Sept 15 from noon-5 pm is our Kids Fair. We’ll be featuring authors Kathy Barco, with her book for younger kids and teachers called READiscover New Mexico at 2 pm, then Betsy James, with her novels for older kids and teens at 3:30 pm. There will also be food, face painting from 1:30-5, and performances throughout the afternoon by some local groups. You can also stop by and pick up some coupons for “Bookworks Bucks” for $1 off an item for each kid.
Sunday, Sept 16 is our Teacher Appreciation Day (and home school teachers can sign up too, if they have the form from the state). It will kick off with Rob Wilder at 3, talking about and signing his book Tales from the Teachers’ Lounge. Then there will be some presentations about what we offer teachers, food, and 35% off all in stock purchases for K-12 teachers who are signed up for our teacher program!
