Seasonal recipe suggestion: Spring Market Pasta
Saute sliced spring garlic and green or bunching onions, and sliced Exotic Mushrooms in olive oil. Add chopped spring greens (chard, kale, etc.) and crumbled warm, cooked Fishhugger salmon. Add 4-5 tablespoons of chicken broth mixed with 1 tablespoon of chile sauce (optional). Cover and saute gently until greens are slightly wilted (1-2 minutes). Cook fresh whole-wheat Pasta Divina spaghetti, drain, and place in serving bowl. Add wilted greens mixture and grated parmesan cheese and mix gently. Serve with additional grated cheese. Enjoy!
Recipes: In honor of the 15th anniversary of the market, if you would like to submit your favorite seasonal recipe to be included in this year's 7th Cooking in the Village recipe book, please send it in a word document to sue@brawleyandcompany.com, or drop off a copy to the market information table.
