Los Ranchos Growers’ & Arts/Crafts Markets - 15th Season Opens!

Sat. May 5, 7 - 11 am (NOTE start time)

6718 Rio Grande Blvd NW, next to the tennis courts and the fire station.

The Growers' Market kicks off its 15th Anniversary Season this Saturday, May 5, from 7 - 11 am! Watch for updates on events that we have planned during the six month season from May 5 - October 27 including the guest chef series, "Ask the Experts", book signings, WIC information, and special events such as Old Vehicle Day and the two-day, village-wide lavender festival. During the season we have over 115 different local produce, plant, and specialty vendors who participate with an average of 45-60 vendors during the height of the growing season. In addition the Arts/Crafts market has over 20 different artists products from which to choose.

It's Planting TIme! In honor of spring there will be free seeds. Vincents Everlasting will have a good selection of herb plants including various basils, oregano, chives, marjoram and mint. One can also find bedding plants such as tomato, sweet pepper, eggplant, parsley, edible flowers and nasturtiums. Paul Mason will answer your questions regarding heirloom tomatoes and Bruce Goddard will discuss chile plants. Ross' Garden, Corrales Garden Nursery, and Moonlight Gardens will have colorful flower spots and perennials to add to your planting beds.

Spring Greens are tender and are tasty in salads, stir-fries, quiches and pestos!

In addition to our great regular returning vendors, we are pleased to announce that Raven's Pies & Quiches, Pasta Divina (fresh pasta), and Mia/Riza (frozen entrees) will be there to compliment your menu planning.

Listen to the music by Dave Palsce while you stroll among the various booths. Pick up free recipes or a coloring sheet. The new barn will open for tours, and one of the new motorcycles, police pursuit ST1300 Hondas, will be on display.

Market tables will have:
