Starry Nights features a 'double–dome' experience!
First, we start you off with a new world-class
planetarium show in our 55-foot-
diameter digital dome theater. We take you deep into
the cosmos and wrap you in
big, colorful visuals of galaxies, nebulae, and star
clusters. Next you get to
experience our observatory where you will, weather
permitting, observe with your
own eyes those deep-space objects that you have just
learned about inside the
planetarium.
Shows start every Saturday evening at 6:30, 7:00,
7:30, and 8:00pm,
with a Bilingual (Spanish/English) language show at
8:30pm.
Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $4 for
children ages 3 to 12.

Virtual Voyages (Motion Simulator Theater Ride, starts
every 15 minutes
daily from 10am – 4:30pm)
The Dinosaur Simulator - Experience the life and times
of the dinosaurs through their
eyes while your seat moves with the film action.
Virtual Voyages is a high-energy
ride-film that moves you in six different directions,
simulating movement through a
prehistoric landscape. You'll watch the action through
the eyes of seven different
dinosaurs as they interact in a realistic portrayal of
their dangerous environment.
You'll move with the movie, without leaving your seat!
Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $4 for
children ages 3 to 12.
For safety considerations, children under 4 are not
allowed on Virtual Voyages.

~Haunted Highways
A collection of photographs by the late Ralph Looney,
longtime journalist for the Albuquerque Tribune,
featuring ghost towns of New Mexico and portraits of
the people who lived there. The images were taken by
Looney for his book Haunted Highways: The Ghost Towns
of New Mexico published in 1968. On display through
June 2007.
~The Sewell Family: Old Town and the Tourist Pottery
Market
The story of the Sewell family's role in the
preservation of the Old Town Armijo properties, and
the subsequent revival of the local tourist pottery
market. On display through August 2007.

Winter Fire Colors Flower Show - Mediterranean
Conservatory.
Through the end of February, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM top
The annual Winter Fire Colors flower show is scheduled
tol open on Thursday, January 11, in the Rio Grande
Botanic Garden’s Mediterranean Conservatory. This
year's display features an array of colorful
primroses, which can be found hanging off the
railings, flowing out of three-tiered baskets, perched
on rocks, and planted for seasonal color in the ground
at the Mediterranean Conservatory. An established bed
of Forest Lilies, with light pink-orange flowers, is
putting on its once-a-year show, also, in the
Conservatory. In Mediterranean climates, winters are
moist and bring fresh growth. Visit the Rio Grande
Botanic Garden, 2601 Central Ave. NW, now through the
end of February to soak up some winter moisture and
anticipate the New Mexico spring. The Winter Fire
Colors Show is included with regular admission -- $7
for adults 13-64; $3 for children 3-12 and seniors 65
and older.
